We are now seeking an Application Engineer who finds this as exciting as we do and wants to play a central role at Vision Remote. Responsibilities as an Application Engineer at Vision Remote:
- First-line support, responsible for direct customer contact and follow-up of external development projects. You will thrive in this role if you are service-minded and solution-oriented.
- Development of software applications in close collaboration with the company’s customers.
- Contribute ti the improvement and further development of Vision Remote’s products.
- Use and administration of Linux-based systems.
- Programming in JavaScript, Python, C++ (Qt).
- On-site support for troubleshooting/improving new and existing systems.
- Experience with the design and development of user interface is a big plus
If you have an education in computer science/IT or a similar technical background, there are a great possibility that you are with your expertise is a good match for Vision Remote.
Good skills in English, both oral and written, as well as solid knowledge of Norwegian is required.

About Vision Remote
Vision Remote is a part of the Tangen Innovation group. Tangen Innovation is an ownership company that is involved in the operation and development og Vision Remote AS, Tangen Engineering AS, Polyteknikk AS and Actuade AS.
The group currently has 14 dedicated employees who are mainly based in Stjørdal. The main focus of the activity is on technology development and the production of technology products. We are located in Tangen, Stjørdal, in the heart of a significant technology and competence environment right next to Nord University, 5 minutes from Trondheim Airport Værnes, and 25 minutes from Trondheim.
